Thanos Papasavvas, CFA      Thanos is Founder & CIO of ABP Invest, established in 2015 to provide strategic outlook and research on geopolitics, economics, markets and FX. Previously he was in asset management for 20 years with CSFB Investment Management / Credit Suisse Asset Management and Investec Asset Management, across fixed income, emerging markets, multi-asset and currency management – where he also won the “Currency Manager of the Year” award twice in 2005 and 2010. He began his career working as an Economist for the UK Government Economic Service coincidentally amidst the outset of the ERM Crisis of 1992.

George Vassiliadis, CFA        George joined ABP Invest in 2018 as a Senior Consultant, bringing with him 20 years of experience in the asset management industry across equity strategy, alternative investments, asset allocation and risk management. George started his professional career as a product design engineer & project manager of BIC razor products before moving into financial services in 2000 with Credit Suisse Asset Management and Alpha Asset Management to become general manager and investment committee chairman of the Aeolian Investment Fund.

Thanasis Petronikolos         Thanasis joined ABP Invest in 2018 as a Senior Consultant, bringing with him 25 years of investment management experience with a specialisation in emerging market bonds and currencies. He was Head of EM Debt at Baring Asset Management for six years, prior to which he was a fund manager for EM bonds & FX at RAB Capital and Avebury Asset Management.

Michael La Tona                     Michael joined ABP Invest in 2020 as a Senior Advisor, bringing with him 29 years of experience in the financial services industry across both the buy-side and sell-side. Michael’s career spans nearly all aspects of fixed income, having held roles as a trader, portfolio manager, investment officer, consultant and client portfolio manager. He has worked with Bear, Stearns & Co., Credit Suisse Asset Management, Munich Re, Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, Towers Watson and Invesco. Michael is a client facing investment management professional focused on client relationships and business development.

Ariane Bischoff                    Ariane joined ABP Invest in 2020 as a Senior Advisor, bringing with her 20 years of experience in sales and marketing. Ariane’s career spans many areas of sales and marketing having held roles as PMO, head of EU marketing, international key account manager, product manager and marketing manager. She spent over 15 years working for international SMEs and large corporations in diverse B2B industries. Ariane is a client facing sales and marketing professional focused on introducing new products and services to international markets with a focus on the DACH region.
